Celebrity Sightings at Lansky

Since the ‘50s, Lansky Bros. has been a magnet for celebrities looking for new additions to their wardrobe.  From musicians, movie stars, athletes, politicians, and even local celebrities, Lansky Bros. never knows who is going to walk through their doors.  And when someone famous walks in, Lansky Bros. does their best to make sure they are styled to stand out.

Dakota Meyer

Dakota Meyer is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and the War in Afghanistan. He is known for being awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions during the Battle of Ganjgal on September 8, 2009, in Kunar Province, Afghanistan.  Hal Lansky measured Dakota Meyer for his suit that was worn when he was awarded the Medal of Honor.

"It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp" Grammy award winning rapper DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia fame poses with Hal and Julie Lansky. Three 6 Mafia is an inductee of the Memphis Music Hall of Fame, the museum that sits next to our Lansky Bros. Clothier to the King shop on Beale Street.

Malcolm John "Mac" Rebennack, better known by the stage name Dr. John, is an American singer-songwriter, pianist and guitarist, whose music combines blues, pop, jazz as well as zydeco, boogie woogie and rock and roll.  Dr. John is wearing a Nat Nast shirt purchased in the shop.  He wore it on stage in Memphis.
